We completed this project just before Thanksgiving, 2025. The pond is 9’x14’x2.5′ deep. It has a 40 sq. ft. Aquascape designed wetland filter above it, which discharges over a 12′ wide water wall. On one end of the wetland, a babbling brook drops over a 3’x10′ Castohn wet cast block wall. On the other end of the wetland, a set of waterfalls wrap around and drop into the pond, powered by a variable speed pump operating from 4000 to 7000 gallons/hour.

The pond is home to the clients school of goldfish, from a previous pond. Twenty nine LED lights showcase the feature from dusk to dawn. The feature was built with Aquascape products, and moss rocks trucked in 140 miles, from a cattle ranch in Chico, CA. We landscaped with 197 California Native Plants.

Because of the gopher population, the entire water feature has welded wire mesh under the EPDM liner, wrapped in 18oz. of geotechnical fabric. The plants are all in wire baskets, with an automatic drip irrigation system to get the plants established.

We are Master Certified Aquascape Contractors, and members in good standing of the California Native Plant Society. Most of these projects were landscaped with native plants from our private nursery
