This is a project we have been working on over the course of several years. First we cut the path through the woods. Then we converted an old abandoned concrete cistern to a stone grotto with spring fed waterfalls, and landscaped it with California native plants. Then we improved the pathway with gravel & timber steps. Then we installed low voltage lighting in the trees and along the path, so that guests could visit it in the evenings.
